As International Women's Day just passed us by, we looked into who the highest-earning female gamers of the world are in 2024.

When it comes to getting paid, for gaming, there are multiple revenue streams you can receive, such as: streaming subscriptions, sponsors, donations, ads, tournament prizes and merch.

Out of the top 10 female earners, seven of them have Minecraft to thank for their success; because that is their most viewed game type.

Meanwhile, in terms of net worth, Jessica Bravura, or better known as ‘Aphmau’ is in the lead with a net worth of $100 million. This puts Aphmau much further ahead of all of the other female gamers with Katherine La, otherwise known as ItsFunneh, having the second highest net worth of $10 million.

Infact, Aphmau outran the top highest-earning male gamers in 2024 as well thanks to her ginormous YouTube following of 19.6 million. It is calculated that she earns at least $1.41 million a month or $21.22 million on average per year, which beats Felix ‘Pewdiepie’ Kjelberg’s net worth of $60 million. Kjelberg is a renowned male gamer who has one of the most subscribed to YouTube channels in the world - out of everybody.

Overall, half of the highest-earning female gamers are American, while two are British and the remaining three come from Canada, Australia and Norway.

On the list, the gamer with the ninth highest earnings, Kathleen Belsten - AKA Loserfruit - overrules the rest of the gamers on the table - in terms of her Twitch following - leading with an impressive 2.9 million Twitch followers.

However, these statistics should come as no surprise because despite gaming originally being a male dominated field, the reality is that 46% of gamers in the US are actually female.

Additionally, we have an Aussie on the list and it turns out that in Australia, 47% of video game players are female; making up more than the US. These statistics show that not only is gaming growing out of becoming a male dominated industry, but it is also going more global than ever before. And with the growth of gaming comes the growth of betting, so you can expect to see the popularity of people placing gaming wagers to grow as the years progress and for the variety to grow with it!

Joe Brown, spokesperson at AmazonSlots.com, commented on the findings: “Our recent research reveals a game-changing trend in the industry. For instance, Jessica Bravura, known as Aphmau, net worth surpasses one of the prominent male gamers, Richard Tyler Blevins, known as Ninja, who has a net worth of $40 million. Female gamers, once overlooked in what's often seen as a male-dominated field, show they're just as good. Aphmau's journey is a perfect example of how a passion for gaming can evolve into a successful career. This shift in the gaming industry is inspiring, approving that with talent and dedication, anyone can be a star, regardless of gender.”
