  • If you land on the bottom of a ladder, you climb it to the top
  • If you land on a snake’s head, you move down to its tail

The gameplay is focused on four dice that feature four different symbols on them - Diamond, Star, SL (Snakes & Ladders Bonus) and ST (Snake Totem Bonus).

These dice are in separate chambers and are rolled one at a time.

  • If at least two dice show Diamonds or Stars, you will receive a payout according to the game’s paytable
  • If at least two dice show the SL symbol, the Snakes & Ladders Bonus will trigger. A fifth dice is then rolled to decide the level of the bonus round (bronze, silver or gold)
  • If at least three dice show the ST symbol, the Snake Totem Bonus will trigger

Snakes & Ladders Bonus

The Snakes & Ladders Bonus is played on a 8x8 grid, which replicates the classic board game. Working your way up the grid, you are trying to reach the final square, while earning multipliers and power-ups. As with the classic game, the main focus should be to avoid those pesky snakes, which send you falling down the board.

Snake Totem Bonus

The Snake Totem Bonus sees you ascend a totem pole, while collecting prizes on your way. The higher you make it up the pole, the more generous the rewards are.

What Makes Snakes & Ladders Live So Popular?

Tapping into a hugely popular board game is never a bad place to start when creating a new casino game - so it's safe to say Snakes & Ladders Live had a leg-up from the start! Playing on nostalgia, this innovative creation combines all the thrills and spills of the classic game with a hearty dose of exciting bonus rounds and big cash payouts.

The gameplay could not be more simple - with players just asked to roll a dice to find out if they will ascend the board, hit a bonus round or be sent crashing back down to earth by a snake.
