Relax Gaming Focused on Expansion in 2024 (Interview)

Last year was a great time to be a fan of online slots, with players treated to countless amazing games released all year round. One of our favourite developers of 2023 was undoubtedly Relax Gaming, who continuously surprised us and kept us entertained from January right through to December.

What does the coming year hold in store for Relax Gaming? We spoke to Kristina Hambardzumyan – Head of Business Development at Relax Gaming - to find out...

What was the highlight for Relax Gaming in 2023?

"It was another groundbreaking year for Relax and one on which we as a company can look back on and be really proud of what we achieved. But as a company, this is only the start and we’re really excited to see what the future holds - we have some big plans in place to help take us to the next level. Alongside launching a host of new releases and helping influence the ever-changing gaming landscape, one of our biggest achievements in 2023 was entering new markets and bringing Relax games to a bigger audience. We successfully launched in Italy, Greece and most recently, America. Dream Drop was another landmark moment for us, having made seven millionaire winners through $84 million in jackpot giveaways throughout 2023. We hope we can take this a step further in 2024 and continue t o expand the network and generate even more happy customers."

Which was your favourite slot release of 2023, and why?

"We had so many releases throughout 2023, but one that stands out for me was the launch of Money Train 4 in September."

"This was a long-awaited game and one which we were really excited to release despite knowing it was going to be the final game of the popular series. Money Train sequels are always popular with players, but we felt that we could really take this release to new heights and make sure we ended the sequel on a high. Money Train 4 is one to keep an eye on as we expect it to win plenty of awards. This is a testament to all the hard work put in behind the scenes to making it a success with a bunch of new features, animations and increased win potential."

Which slot releases should fans be most excited about for 2024?

"We’ve got plenty of big hitters ready and waiting to launch in 2024. The Dream Drop games are always a huge hit and we’ve got even more of those coming throughout the year, starting with Hercules Unleased Dream Drop later this month."

"We’re always looking to expand our portfolio to bring the best games to market and this is something we intend to do throughout what promises to be another huge year for us."

Do you have any sequel slot releases due for release this year?

"We’ve got plenty of sequel games in the pipeline throughout 2024 with the aim of making sure players and partners continue to see more of the games they love. All we can say is keep your eyes peeled with regular releases breaking through as we try to make your favourite games even bigger and better than before."

Are there any slot innovations planned for 2024?

"As a company, we are always looking for ways to innovate our products as well as with out partners. Whether it’s standard slots, our Dream Drop product, or our business suite, we’re always seeking more ways to drive differentiation."

What does a successful 2024 look like for Relax Gaming?

"We have a vision of how we anticipate the year going, and we can’t wait to see all of the hard work behind the scenes come to fruition. The gaming landscape is always changing and it’s important we remain in a strong position with our ears to the ground to ensure we get the best out of the year. This year we will continue enter new regulated markets, expand and differentiate our games portfolio and make sure Relax games are on top on the majority of our operators. We continue to make monumental strides in the industry and we would love to be in the same position this time next year reflecting on another huge year for the company."
