Online slot developer Play’n GO has been granted a licence to supply its content to players in the state of Connecticut.

This will see Play’n GO titles such as Rise of Olympus, Book of Dead, and Reactoonz be made available to Connecticut-based players.

US Expansion

Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer at Play’n GO, said: “Gaining further market access to US iGaming States has been an important goal of the company so it’s fantastic to be able to add Connecticut to our US push.

“Online gaming operators in the US are increasingly looking at retention strategies to mitigate against costly acquisition – especially in expensive media markets like the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut tri-state area.

"Being able to bring Play’n GO games to Connecticut - the best content in the industry for retention - will be music to the ears of operators and their players."

Worldwide Reach

Connecticut will become the fourth US state where Play’n GO’s portfolio is live, following on from New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia.

The company also launched its games offering in Ontario when its market went live in April 2022.

Play’n GO is active in more than 25 jurisdictions across the world, and the supplier plans to launch more than 50 online slots in 2023.

Olsson added: “Our strategy is to be the best in every regulated market in the world. Our new license in Connecticut joins the more than 25 other regulated markets we are already thriving in, and we can’t wait to get started.”

The Connecticut launch marks the latest part of Play’n GO’s expansion. After finalising an agreement to bring its games to Italy with SKS365 at the end of 2022, the company partnered with Kindred Group brand 32Red in a deal which saw its games debut in the United Kingdom for the first time.
