Graphics and Theme
As the name might suggest, Jinse Dao Dragon is an oriental themed slot featuring a golden dragon (which is the direct translation of the title). The backdrop to the reels is a dark red colour that gets darker as you reach the edge of the screen. The golden dragon sits on top of the reels in a menacing pose, looking directly into your eyes. He’s surrounded by red floating clouds that move from side to side, creating a dynamic effect. You’ll notice that to the left of the reels; the four jackpot totals are listed to show you what you’re playing for.
The soundtrack is a repetitive traditional Chinese instrumental that is best described as ethereal and slightly hypnotic. It will certainly help you stay focused on the task of spinning the reels. The music gets louder as you hit spin and while the reels don’t make a noise when they spin, they come to a stop with clicking noise. You’ll know when you land a yin-yang symbol because of the loud drum roll and if you make it to the free spins round the music intensifies even further.

The highest paying symbol in the game is the golden tiger which is worth 10x your stake for five of a kind.
There is a glowing orb bonus symbol and a yin-yang scatter symbol too.
Glowing orb expanding reels feature
The glowing orb symbol is the key to unlocking various expanding reel features and the four jackpots. But first, here’s how to trigger the expanding reels feature.
- If one or two glowing orbs land on reel one, the symbols will nudge up or down to take over the whole of that reel. This, in turn, expands the reel by up to three positions
- If three glowing orbs land on reel one, then the game will expand reels two to five with up to three rows each
Glowing orb bonus prizes and jackpots
As discussed, the glowing orb does more than just expand the reels. If you land glowing orb symbols on reels two to five, a prize value of 1x – 20x your stake or a jackpot prize will be assigned to each orb symbol. The jackpot that you could win depends on where you land the orb symbols.
- Land the orb symbols on reels four and five for a chance to win the MINI jackpot
- Land the orb symbols on the fifth reel only for a chance to win the MINOR and MAJOR jackpots
To take a spin on the bonus wheel, you will need to land three scatter yin-yang symbols on reels two, three, and four. You’ll get one spin of the bonus wheel which contains various prizes. All four of the jackpots are on there, and you could win anywhere between five and 20 free spins.
