Baccarat is often overlooked by online casinos — however, Griffon Casino offers its players a large selection of many Baccarat variations.

Here are just some of the games you can find on their list:

  • –  Speed Baccarat (every round lasts 27 seconds)
  • – Dragon Tiger (only two cards are drawn)
  • – Lighting Baccarat (1-5 Lightning Cards get randomly drawn during the game)
  • – Baccarat Control Squeeze (the player controls the squeeze rather than the dealer)
  • – First Person Baccarat (the player is in control of the game)

Let’s look at the standard Baccarat rules in more detail as it’s important to know them before tackling any variation.

How to Play Baccarat

Baccarat’s rules are pretty straightforward. Two face-up cards are dealt to the player hand and banker hand — the total that’s the closest to the value of nine points wins.

You can bet on the player hand or the banker’s hand — if the player hand wins, your winnings equal double your bet. But if you bet on the banker hand, you receive 95% of your bet.

An important note to remember is that if the sum of the cards goes beyond nine, the value goes back to zero. This means that if the player’s hand has anything from 1-5 and 10, the player draws. If the value of your cards is anywhere between 6-7, you should stand. And, of course, a player’s hand of 8-9 equals a natural win.
