Microgaming have announced a new partnership with Esports Betting Operator Unikrn

Software provider Microgaming have announced that are going to add esports betting to its aggregation platform. This comes after agreeing a new partnership with esports betting operator Unikrn.

This deal will see Unikrn’s esports betting product, Unikrn Virtual, become available to more than 800 major gaming brands worldwide. This will allow customers to bet on competitions such as CSGO, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, NBA 2K and Rocket League.

Unikrn virtual is a powerful collection of professional esports matches and bespoke content created and played by some of the best competitors in gaming history, including Justin Wong and the winners of over a dozen EVO championships, allowing fans to bet on live esports without delays or schedule constraints.

Thoughts of Microgaming

The commercial director of Microgaming, Leon Thomas had this to say on the new partnership: “Microgaming has a rich history of product innovation and development, and we are constantly exploring new avenues to deliver unique content that raises the bar of entertainment.

“Unikrn has a strong reputation for delivering innovative esports gaming experiences that capture the attention of players around the world, and we firmly believe the addition of their esports product will allow us to bring something special to the market.”

Unikrn’s Point of View

The chief operating officer of Unikrn, Andrew Vouris, said that the deal would ensure customers of Microgaming will always be able to offer a wide range of betting markets: “Unikrn Virtual is the solution to the single most foundational issue facing bookmakers today, even in the fast world of esports, content gaps can wreak havoc on bettor engagement,” Vouris explained. “For bettors who want engaging, 24/7 options, Unikrn Virtual is the only option.”

The esports betting operator’s founder Rahul Sood added: “Unikrn Virtual is a never-ending well of exclusive content that will change the betting landscape. [I’m] excited to access Microgaming’s network and global reach.”
