Avalanche Wins

Following any win, all winning symbols disappear in a satisfying explosion. The remaining symbols then swirl clockwise towards the centre of the grid, with new symbols moving in from the bottom left until the grid is complete. Exploding Star Wilds

Star Wilds will not appear on an initial spin (unless triggered by the Starfall modifier). Instead, Star Wilds are a product of winning combinations.

Each winning line which does not initially feature a Wild will leave one Star Wild behind when it explodes.

The fun really starts if these Star Wilds feature in a subsequent win triggered by an Avalanche. Whenever this occurs, the Star Wild explodes to destroy all horizontally and vertically connected symbols. Random Modifiers

For the most part, Finn sits serenely to the left of the grid, playing a jolly ditty on his flute. However, our ginger bearded hero will occasionally spring into life, sprinkling a little magic dust onto the reels to trigger one of the following four modifiers:

• Starfall Wilds: Adds two or more Star Wilds to the reels. If no wins result, additional Star Wilds will land until a winning line does appear.
• Dragon Destroy: A fire-breathing dragon blasts a selection of symbols from the reels. The ensuing avalanche is guaranteed to create a win. This boost may only activate if the initial Swirly Spin fails to produce a win. 
• Irish Luck: Adds a winning line of matching symbols to the grid. This boost may only activate if the initial Swirly Spin fails to produce a win. 
• Magic Transform: All Spades and Hearts transform into a higher value symbol. Spades and Hearts may become different high-value symbols or transform into the same symbol.

Free Spins Bonus

At the start of each Swirly Spin, the bottom left corner of the grid contains a gleaming Golden Key, whilst the central grid position contains a Keyhole. No prizes for guessing where this is going. Your task is to move the Key around the grid and all the way to the central position courtesy of a sequence of wins, Avalanche Wins, and Wild Explosions.

Each time you trigger the bonus round, the triggering Key moves into the Key Meter at the right of the grid. The number of keys in your Meter determines how many of the Four Free Spins Bonuses are available for you to select:

• Star Bar Round – Keys Required = one: Awards seven free spins with the Starfall Feature active on every spin.

Our Verdict NetEnt have many excellent creations under their belt but few come so close to perfection as this design. The swirling triggering system brings excitement to every winning sequence, as that lovely key tiptoes and lurches towards its destination, whilst the unlockable additional rounds lend significant replay value.
