Rolling in Gold Overview
Rolling in Gold was released on 3rd March 2021 by Blueprint. They have been publishing top-quality online slot games since 2001. They are behind some of the online gambling community’s most popular games like Eye of Horus Megaways, Sausage Party, Fishin’ Frenzy, and Mars Attacks. Blueprint is hoping that Rolling in Gold will be their second successful mining-themed game. Hope Diamond released last year and saw great success. So, they took another stab at it to see if they could replicate the achievement.
Rolling in Gold is played across an unusual grid of reels that are setup up in a 3, 3, 4, 4, 4 format. This creates 2304 ways to win, so this game does not have a shortage of winning opportunities. For your chance to play this exciting game that’s packed full of features and has a max payout of 50,000x your stake, you’ll need to wager a minimum of $0.10 per spin up to a maximum of $50 per spin. The bonus features include an expanding reel set, wild symbols, free spins and multipliers.
Graphics and Theme
Rolling in Gold is a mining-themed game that’s set deep within an active gold mine. You can’t see too much apart from the reels themselves. However, around the reels, you will see some lumps of rock, barrels of Gold, wooden crates, and various pulling systems for transporting material around the mines. The pully systems also act as the border for the reels made of wood and rope. The backing to the reels is translucent so you can see the rock behind, and the symbols inject some colour onto the screen. The graphics are super-crisp and HD. They make you feel like you’re watching a modern cartoon rather than playing a slot game.
The soundtrack is a country and western-inspired song and features a banjo, a harmonica, and some light percussion sounds to create a repetitive tune that will make you want to shout yeee-haaaaw. When you hit spin, the reels rotate and make a crunching noise before coming to a stop one by one to the sound of rocks crashing on the floor. If you’re lucky enough to score a big win, one of the miners shouts exactly that while the music intensifies.

There are six low-paying symbols: three coloured gemstones, a pickaxe, a helmet, and a lantern. The latter three are all worth 2x your stake for six of a kind. The four high paying symbols include a mule, a sack of gold coins, a cart full of gold coins and a miner. The miner is the most valuable and is worth 15x your stake for six of a kind.
Some TNT symbols explode at the end of your spin to create room for new symbols to fall into their place. The dynamite wild symbols can substitute for any symbol to create a winning combination except for the diamond and gold nugget scatter symbols which can only appear on reels one, two, and three.
Gold spins & diamond spins
The gold spins feature is activated by landing two dynamite wild symbols on reels one and two simultaneously with a gold nugget symbol on reel three. You will then be taken over to a new 4×4 grid where all the triggering golden nugget symbols will come with you. You’ll get three spins to start with, which can be retriggered every time you land a new gold nugget symbol. Each spin will reveal blanks or more nuggets. All nuggets come with a cash prize attached to them, which are added up and paid out at the end of the round.
If you land a diamond symbol during the gold spins, you’ll be taken to a new screen to play out a similar game but with diamond symbols. You get one spin for every triggering diamond symbol. The difference is that the spins can’t be retriggered and that the diamond prizes are much larger.
