EGT have definitely kept things simple for 40 Super Hot. The gameplay adopts a back to basics approach that you're used to seeing with classic fruit machines. As such, you can't be too disappointed to see a lack of bonus features or modern gameplay mechanics as they were never promised in the first place. The Jackpot Cards are a nice feature which do add an extra dimension to the slot, but the game has a definite ceiling.
