Following in the hoofprints of Black Horse and Black Horse Deluxe, this 2023 instalment is visually very similar to the Deluxe version, albeit with a 5x3 rather than a 6x3 layout. However, that’s no bad thing, with both games representing a definite upgrade on the original Black Horse in terms of production values. The look may be familiar, but the gameplay is vastly different, with the bonus round kicked out in favour of a Sticky Prize Collector System. The RTP is also slightly lower (still nicely above average), but that seems a fair price to pay, as the Max Win has been almost trebled. Free spins aren’t the be-all and end-all in the slots world, and we enjoyed the suspense created by those Countdown Collectors.
