Overview

The Deal or No Deal online slot game was released in September 2019 by the well-respected software provider Blueprint Gaming. Blueprint has been powering slots for land-based casinos, and more recently online casinos, since 1957. Deal or No Deal is based on the UK daytime television show hosted by Noel Edmunds. Several slot games use this mechanic. However, this Deal or No Deal game is the only one that features the Megaways engine. Other well-known Blueprint games include The Goonies, Cleopatra Gold, Eye of Horus Megaways, and Luck of the Irish Fortune Spins.

This game is played across six reels that can have between two and seven symbols on each reel. The varying reel positions create up to 117,649 ways to win thanks to the Megaways pay system. You can place bets from as little as £0.20 per spin or for as much as £10 per spin. The maximum payout is an enormous £250,000, which is the same as the TV show and can be won during the Jackpot King Deluxe feature. On top of the huge maximum win, the game has exciting features like mystery symbols, cascading reels, and free spins.

Graphics and Theme

Deal or No Deal Megaways has a fabulous game show theme packed full of bright colours, joyful noises and HD graphics. The reels sit on top of a circular stage complete with red and blue studio lighting. It makes it feel like you are sitting in the hot seat. The megaways counter sits in the top left of your screen, and the maximum bonus win counter sits in the top right of your screen to keep you informed on what’s happening during the game. The reels are encased in a shiny silver border, and the spin button is located to the right of the reels.

The soundtrack plays quietly in the background as you hit spin. It’s a repetitive tune made up of various percussion instruments and synth sounds. It will remind you of 80’s game show music (if you’re old enough to have watched it). Classic arcade win noises will sound when you land winning combinations or land special symbols to let you know that action is taking place.

Game Promotions

The low paying symbols in the game are made up of the playing card symbols nine, 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace. Six of a kind Aces are worth 1x your stake. This may seem low, but this is usual for Megaways games because it’s easy to create winning combos of six or more symbols. The high paying symbols include objects that Deal or No Deal fans will recognise. They include the question mark mug, the banker’s wax seal, the golden envelope and the Deal or No Deal red box. The red box is the most valuable symbol in the game worth 50x your stake for six of a kind.

There is also a wild symbol that can substitute for other symbols to create a winning combination. The wild symbol cannot replace the bonus or scatter symbol.

Mega deal or no deal

You will notice six red boxes that represent different bonus levels to the left of your screen. You can unlock them with the cascading reels feature. For every win you create using the cascading reels feature, you will move up one bonus level. When the wins stop, you will have to select one of 22 red boxes to win a prize that is dependent on which level you reach.

  •     Deal or no Deal – Triggered by four cascading wins and the prizes are cash or free spins.
  •     Super Deal or No Deal – Triggered by five cascading wins. There are fewer cash prizes and more free spins prizes.
  •     Mega Deal or No Deal – Triggered by six cascading wins, you will only win free spins prizes.

Free spins

The free spins are triggered in the Deal or No Deal bonus game that was just outlined. The number of free spins will depend on your prize. However, you can add five or ten additional free spins by landing three or four scatters simultaneously during the free spins game.

During the free spins game, the cascading reels will multiply by a factor of 1x for each win. There is no limit on how high the multiplier can reach; however, the game’s maximum win is capped at £250,000.

Jackpot King Deluxe Feature

The Jackpot King Deluxe feature can be triggered on any spin randomly. If you trigger it, you

will be taken to a new screen where you will need to spin the reels to collect crown symbols. You will need a minimum of 15 crown symbols to have a chance of spinning the Wheel King Bonus. The Wheel King Bonus wheel can award cash prizes, free spins and one of the three jackpot prizes.

Game How to Play

To play Deal or No Deal you need to decide on your betting value which can be between £0.20 per spin and £10 per spin. You can then hit spin or use the autoplay feature to set the six reels in motion for your chance to win the big prizes. There can be up to 117,649 ways to win, and the game has a maximum payout of £250,000. The gameplay is at its most exciting during the Mega Deal or No Deal bonus feature. This feature gives you the chance to open red boxes for your chance to win large cash prizes and free spins.
