Wild Symbol

When a winning combination lacks a Wild symbol, a Wild icon is introduced into one of the central positions within the vanishing set. Should a win materialise that involves one or more Wilds, each Wild symbol erupts, leading to the annihilation of symbols adjacent either vertically or horizontally.

Wilds possess the capability to act as substitutes for all regular pay symbols. In instances where three to five wilds align and cannot create a winning combination with other symbols, they function as replacements for the highest value pay symbol.

Random Features

During a spin in the base game, one of the subsequent enhancements may spontaneously activate:

• Sugar Rush - Between two to five Wilds manifest in random positions on the reels. If no winning combinations are present, Wilds will persistently appear at random until a victory is achieved, with the potential for up to 10 random Wilds in total.
  
• Yeti Destroy - Up to 19 random symbols are eradicated from the grid, ensuring a guaranteed Avalanche that results in at least one win. In the main game, the Yeti Destroy feature solely triggers when no wins are evident on the reels.
  
• Candy Luck - All symbols on a randomly selected row or reel lacking a free spins Key Scatter transform into either low or high-paying symbols, thereby creating a win. In the base game, this transformation solely transpires when no wins are apparent on the grid. During Cotton Candy Lab free spins, if Candy Luck modifies symbols on a row or reel with one or more symbols contributing to a win, all symbols on that row or reel transform into wilds.
  
• Pop Transform - All low-value symbols on the reels change into high-value symbols. High-pay symbols are individually selected for each low-pay symbol.

Free Spins Bonus

In each base game spin, a distinct free spins Key symbol emerges in the lower-left corner. If this Key symbol can make its way to the middle of the reels – i.e. the centre spot, it will trigger the Free Spins Bonus.

At the start of the round, you get to choose from four different games. These are Ice-Cream Palace, Gumball Factory, Wild Sugar Hub, and Cotton Candy Lab. This is how they work:

• Wild Sugar Hub – Here you will receive seven free spins, and the Sugar Rush feature will be active on each spin.

Our Verdict I found the bonus features very similar to the original Finn and the Swirly Spin version, except they are now candy themes. However, that’s not to say they weren’t a lot of fun, because I thoroughly enjoyed the bonus features.
