Graphics and Theme

The overall look and feel of Age of Conquest seems to be designed in order to recreate that moment when the protagonist and his rag-tag bunch of friends are about to go to war in the third act of a fantasy film. With an imposing castle in the background, players get the sense of storming the tower. The icons of bravery in the game also complement this ambience. These are of noble steads, brave princes and powerful weapons. The music, as you might expect, is a rousing piece with an uplifting tempo played in a major key. In terms of quality, the symbols, background, and graphics are all impressive. Especially gratifying is the collection of diamonds sequence, which designers have made look very appealing. Big wins are punctuated by a sword being thrust across the screen, whilst coins tumble from the sky.

On balance, the Age of Conquest video slot is a fun game worth playing. It has plenty of pros and a few cons. The pros being that Neon Valley and Microgaming have produced a game with well-designed graphics, exciting bonus features and a well-coordinated theme. The con is that it won’t be a game that pays out big due to its low volatility. However, if you are a fan of the epic fantasy genre and are content with smaller wins, this is an excellent game for you.

How To Play Age of Conquest Slot

Setting up the game is easy. When starting, go to the menu at the bottom of the screen to bring up the settings. In this window, you can adjust the coin size, coins per bet and win and loss limits. This will configure the value of your bet per spin. From this point, you can either play manually or use the automatic spins feature. To win, you need to land three or more matching symbols across consecutive reels starting at reel one. Bigger wins are more likely with the bonus features explained above.

Age of Conquest Slot Features

This game of mythical creatures and plundered dungeons comes with a variety of bonus features. These take the form of spins with wild reels, free spins with wild reels and a base game which includes stacked high-value symbols. The real excitement of this game is the possibility that entire reels can be turned into wilds, making for some exciting combos.

The first feature, as mentioned, is the Wild Reels feature. Atop each of the five reels is a collection meter. Each time you manage to land a diamond symbol, it will be added to the corresponding two-slot meter above it. Once both diamonds have been collected on a reel or multiple reels, the Wild Reels feature is activated.

After this feature has been activated, the whole of the reels which have full diamonds above will then be wild for the next two spins. After these two spins have been completed, the diamonds are emptied from the meters, and you begin collecting again. Wilds pay 2, 10 or 50 times your total stake when you land 3, 4 or 5 across a pay line, respectively.

The second bonus feature is the Free Spins feature. Wilds are also critical to activating this bonus, as it is triggered by landing the throne scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the same spin. If this happens, players are given a choice of free spin and wild reel combinations. These are 25 free spins and one wild reel, eight free spins with two wild reels or finally two free spins with three wild reels.

Wild reels can be generated entirely at random on different reels on every free spin. Landing the throne scatter on reels 1, 3 and 5 after bonuses have been played, creates another round of free spins.
