Beavis and Butt-Head Slot Review

Beavis and Butt-Head Slot Overview

The ridiculous duo of Beavis and Butt-Head is back in this brilliantly cartoon style slot game. The heavy metal fans with enormous heads, once again take centre stage for this totally “cool” romp through the MTV series, getting into plenty of hair-brained adventures. Designed by Blueprint Gaming, the Beavis and Butt-Head slot is a classic 5-reel, 20 pay line affair but with plenty of variation in gameplay. At its core though, players must win combinations by matching the symbols in certain formations across the board from left to right. As with other Blueprint slot games, this one is stuffed with features. Players will benefit from Wild symbols, and instant cash wins to Multipliers and Free Spins. Wagers for this game are in the range of 10p to £500 per spin. The biggest payout players can receive 10,000x your stake plus a jackpot. Beavis and Butt-Head is a medium volatility slot game coming straight to you from the bizarre MTV world of these crazy cartoon characters. It has a return to player percentage of 95.49%.

Graphics and Theme

As you will see immediately when you open the game, most of the action is viewed from the perspective of Beavis and Butt-Head sitting on their sofa. In front of them is the huge analogue TV where the reels spin. Regular symbols take the form of multicoloured letters, whereas picture symbols include the Beavis and But-Head logo, as well as characters from the series, such as the headteacher. For bonus games, players are taken to new settings. One of which, the “Great Cornholio” feature, takes you to the school’s bathroom where stalls are opened and closed with the success of the reels. Graphics are suitably cartoonish, with plenty of silly brightly coloured features to entertain. The music is a rock riff with liberally applied sound effects such as quotes from the characters to punctuate certain moments in the game, like transitions between the base game and features.

Beavis and Butt-Head Slot Features

Bonus features for this game as mentioned are very generous. One-half of these bonuses come in the form of the Couch to Cash feature, which offers you a variety of Wild associated bonuses. These are outlined below:

Die Fly, Die! – As a fly lands on the TV (reels) the guys try to hit it with a rolled-up newspaper, each random position that they hit with the newspaper turns into a Wild.

Cornholio Wilds – Beavis’s insane alter ego Cornholio is suddenly thrust into the game and has the ability to stack reels with wilds.

Colossal Couch Fishing – Butt-Head in an attempt to catch a massive fish pulls out his fishing rod and hooks a 3×3 massive reel which is added to the original reels. This bonus can even land you the giant bonus symbol.

So Nacho – In attempting to open a bag of nachos, Butt-Head manages to create an explosion which peppers the reels with a collection of mystery symbols which will subsequently reveal matching symbols.

Butt Flambé – For some demented reason, Beavis starts chugging hot sauce which results in him having a powerful flaming bout of flatulence which wafts across the reels, potentially triggering the bonus.

Some Like it Hot- Both main characters here drink hot sauce, causing them to burp fire onto the reels, granting the player a large winning spin.

Additionally, there are two modifiers which can be triggered after any spin. The first is called the Sofa Slugfest. For this bonus, symbols are cast out from the reels and replaced with new ones, which have the potential to form wins. The second is the Change the Channel modifier which, when activated, causes Butt-Head to change the channel to reveal a win.

The main bonuses however come under the 6 “Stuff Kicks Ass” features. These can be accessed via either the Couch Your Cash modifier or by landing three or more Hollywood Star bonus scatters anywhere on the reels. If you are lucky to activate this bonus, you will be presented with a selection of film strips which you may pick from.

Your choice will result in either a bonus feature or what is called a Mystery Win cash prize. However, a third option is also available; the Feature Gamble gives players the option to play or pick from the selection again. If you manage to win again, the cash prize will be collected, and the game reverts to the base version of the game.  If a different feature appears, however, you can either select it or try the gamble again. The features on offer through this window are as follows:

Don’t Be A Buzzkill Bonus – This bonus is set in coach Buzzcut’s School office, here you will be asked to choose between Beavis or Butt-Head to reveal a cash win or a buzzkill. When the buzzkill meter at the side reaches capacity, the feature will terminate.

Customers Suck! Bonus – For this feature players are sent to Burger World, where Beavis and Butt-Head have jobs as cashiers. Here you will be asked to select food parcels to reveal icons. Each different type of food will match up to a total wager multiplier. From within this feature, players can also upgrade when the appropriate icon shows itself. If this upgrade is achieved, the multiplier grows, or the possible feature that can be triggered during the bonus is activated. Additionally, collecting the Gold Super Burger icon triggers another feature. This subsequent feature ends if three worm burgers are revealed.

To ‘B’ Or Not to ‘B’ Free Spins – This bonus takes place in the dynamic duo’s front garden. On each spin, either the Beavis or Butt-Head symbol is turned into a wild. Players may also collect tokens to win the Super Spins feature, which will transform all the Beavis and Butt-Head symbols wild for every spin or trigger the Just Deserts Bonus.

Maxi Mart Free Spins- This feature is set inside a supermarket. Here Maxi Gulp drinks land on the reels to grant players wilds. The token feature also applies here. If Super Spins are triggered, the Maxi Gulp wilds appear again and are sticky for all remaining spins.

The Great Cornholio Free Spins – For this feature, players are transported to the school bathroom. With each spin players are given at least two fully stacked wilds reels. You can collect tokens here as well. This will allow you to have a chance to retrigger the feature or go directly to the Just Deserts Bonus.

Just Deserts Bonus – Set inside an actual desert, you are asked to pick from a selection of icons to advance Beavis and Butt-Head along the desert path and collect cash wins. If they manage to land on the Oasis position, a mystery prize will be won. Also possible is making it to the Super Big Money, which is right at the end of the desert trail. Getting here will mean players can select a Super Big Money multiplier which is then added to your total. To get here though, players must land five scatters unless players activate it through the Feature Gamble or in any of the other bonuses.
