Although this game is ten years old, the graphics and illustrations still hold up as engaging, even if they aren’t the crispest. From the runic board to the well-drawn symbols of the various Norse gods such as Loki and Thor, the theme hangs together well and is probably a central reason for the game’s continued popularity. The best graphic sequence is when Thor lands heavily on the base of the reel case and then shoots back up into the clouds in an electrical storm to create a wild reel. Free spin choices are also well illustrated with the four main Norse characters, each representing a different bonus spin feature.

Audio

The music is an exciting combination of high tempo percussion with inspiring melodies played over the top. This is then liberally infused with the cracks of lightning and the rumble of thunder, to give the impression that the game is taking place within a storm cloud.
