Colour Tumble Feature

When using a cascading wins feature, many online slots remove the winning symbols from the game board, but Diamond Cascade has a different way of doing things. Each symbol has one of five coloured backgrounds, and after a win has been triggered, a minimum of five symbols with the same background colour will disappear from the board.

The remaining symbols will then fall to the bottom of the screen, to be replaced by new symbols above. This feature continues until no more winning combinations are found. As an added bonus, the symbols removed from the game are collected into a meter. For every 20 symbols collected in the meter, a 1x multiplier is added to the win multiplier, so the more combinations you find, the more you stand to win.

While the graphics are basic, yet serviceable, we weren’t a fan of the audio design. The background music is some generic faux-dance piece that wears thin after a while, and there are so many sound effects that they all end up overlapping each other. If you’re playing this game for any significant amount of time, we’d recommend playing on mute.

Our Verdict: The graphic design of the slot is basic but it does its job well enough, which can’t be said for the audio design. Definitely the worst part of this slot game.
