Graphics and Theme

Pragmatic Play has designed an ancient Aztec theme for their latest release. The backdrop to the reels looks like it could be inside one of the great pyramids. To the left of the reels, you’ll see the lamp-lit stairs leading to the bottom of the pyramid. To the right of the reels, you’ll see a metal forgery and an ancient Aztec statue with colourful decorations. The reels themselves are set within a rolled out scroll of antique paper. The colourful gems bring a vibrant feel to the screen and will draw your attention to where the action happens.

The soundtrack is a relaxing symphony of sounds that will help you to chill while you hit spin in search of riches. Think of yoga music with lots of peaceful synth noises and gentle percussion instruments, and you will begin to imagine the sounds you will hear. When you hit spin, the noises are more in line with what you’d hear at an arcade rather than a yoga studio. The symbols fall off the reels to the brush of a chime and land one by one with a thud. When you land a winning combo, there’s a pleasing win noise that can continue for a while if you get lucky with the tumble feature.

How To Play Gems Bonanza Slot

You will first need to decide on your betting value which can be between £0.20 per spin and a maximum of £100 per spin. The game is played across an 8×8 grid and works off a cluster pay system. This means that you will need to hit spin and attempt to land clusters of five or more symbols to win cash prizes. The maximum jackpot in the game is 10,000x your bet which can be achieved by landing a cluster of 25 or more symbols during level five of the Gold Fever bonus round.

There are seven colourful gems which make up the main symbols in the game. In order of value, it goes blue, pink, orange, turquoise, green, purple, and red. The red gem is the most valuable and is worth a maximum of £100,000 or 1000x your stake for a cluster of 25 or more. There is also a wild symbol that looks like a golden gem. It can substitute for any of the symbols, but it will only appear in the Wild Gem and Lucky Wilds bonus features.

Tumble feature

The tumble feature means that when you land a winning combination, the symbols included in the win will fall off your screen and new ones will fall to fill the spaces. This gives you another chance to create a winning combination, and it will continue until you no longer make a winning combo. You might have seen this feature called cascading reels in another game.

Spin features

In the base game, coloured tiles sit behind the symbols. When a win happens on top of one of these coloured tiles, a special bonus feature is triggered depending on the colour of the tile.

Nuclear – Blue tile – after all the tumbles are complete, the screen will be wiped of all the symbols and replaced by new ones.
Wild Gem – Pink tile – after the tumbles are complete, the game will turn one randomly selected symbol wild. This will apply to all of the selected symbols present on the screen.
Squares – Brown tile – after the tumbles are complete, a random number of 2×2 blocks are added to the screen.
Colossal Symbol – Red tile – after the tumbles are complete, a random block of 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5 will be added to the screen.
Lucky Wilds – Green tile – after the tumbles are complete, between five and 15 wilds are added to random positions on the reels.

Gold fever progressive feature

After every spin, the number of winning symbols is counted by the Gold Fever meter. It resets every time there are no more wins on a tumble. The feature starts when you collect 114 points, and you will enter the bonus round at level 1. Collect enough points by landing winning combos on each level to keep progressing. The feature will end when there are not enough points to progress to the next level.
