Cascade Feature

The Cascade feature springs into action when a win is formed, which prompts the removal of the winning symbols from the reels. Subsequently, new symbols cascade from above, creating fresh winning combinations. This cycle continues as long as new winning combinations continue to emerge.

After each cascade, the grid will expand. First adding a reel or row at the bottom, then at the top, followed by the right and left reels. It will remain at an 8X8 configuration once all sections of the grid have been unlocked. This will stay in place until there are no more cascades.

Wild Symbols

The Wild symbol is a substitute for all symbols, except the Scatter symbol. Depending on the number of Wild symbols that land on the reels - ranging from five to 64 or more - multipliers are applied, with rewards from 1x to 100x.

Random Wilds

This feature can activate randomly during the base and bonus game phases once all sides of the grid have been unlocked. In the subsequent cascade, a cluster of Wild symbols appear in a random position on the grid.

The block of Wild symbols comprises a minimum of two and a maximum of 16 symbols.

To activate this feature, you need to land three or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels:

3x Scatters = eight free spins
4x Scatters = 12 free spins

Throughout the feature, a total multiplier is displayed on the left side of the reels. It starts at one and will increase by 1x for each cascade. After the first four cascades, there will be an additional boost between 1x to 5x and this will be applied to all wins during that specific spin.

Our Verdict I enjoyed the bonus feature which was very generous; I got a lot of Wild symbols with many multipliers so I was more than happy with the result. The ability to trigger more free spins within the rounds is always an added bonus as well!

Our Verdict An RTP of 96.09% is a decent RTP, however, I would suggest that you check it before playing at your chosen casino as some casinos use the lower RTP of 95.09%. The combination of cascading reels and multipliers mean that the high volatility rating makes sense for this slot.

Within the game, the iconic pyramids are encircled by gears, welding apparatus, and billowing steam, presenting a novel interpretation of how these monumental structures might have been constructed in ancient times. The symbols with higher payouts include the green Eyes of Horus, a purple Cleopatra, a red eagle and a blue Ankh.

Audio

I couldn’t decide whether I liked the audio. The sound when you win a cascade was a typical casino jingle, but I found the background music could be a bit annoying - I couldn’t work out whether it was someone singing or supposed to be the sounds one would have heard in Ancient Egypt. You can, however, adjust the sound by clicking on the speaker icon on the bottom left of the screen.

Our Verdict As mentioned above, the background audio was slightly irritating, but the graphics of the game were excellent with very colourful symbols that exploded every time I won a cluster.
