Top 10 NFL Teams you can bet on

The National Football League (NFL) is the main professional association for US American football. The NFL comprises 32 teams in the professional football league, divided evenly between the AFC and NFC. Football is perhaps one of the most popular sports in the United States, and as a result, it attracts the most sports betting each year. Annually the NFL season tops all other sports in terms of betting, with college football coming in second. According to the American Gaming Association, over 45.2 million Americans wagered on the NFL season in 2021 alone. In addition, hundreds of millions of dollars are wagered each year on the Super Bowl, which is one of the country’s most popular and renowned athletic events.

There are presently several licensed online sportsbooks that allow wagers on NFL games. The NFL (and most notably the Super Bowl) are arguably among the most popular sporting events for viewership and sports betting in the US. Illinois, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey are among the top states for NFL betting. In addition, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, PointsBet, and others are among the most popular sportsbooks for NFL betting. It is difficult to weigh up who the best NFL teams of all time are as the century-year-old league has seen some amazing teams in the past. Attempting to determine who the best teams are can also be subjective. We have created a list of our top 10 NFL teams of all time by factoring in Super Bowls, overall history, and notoriety.

10. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are located in Miami and are Florida’s oldest professional sports franchise. They are a member of the NFL’s (AFC) East division. In their five Super Bowl appearances, the Miami Dolphins have won three of them. They were the first team to compete in three straight Super Bowls from 1971 to 1973. The defense of the 1972 Miami Dolphins was dubbed the “No-Name Defense” by the iconic Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry because the offense grabbed the attention while the defense quietly dominated. The club had four All-Pro picks and nine Pro Bowlers. The undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins are atop the list of the best NFL teams of all time, earning the franchise a spot in our top 10.
