Cluster Slide is a space-themed slot, and like with all Elk Studio games, you can expect mind-blowing graphics. The game is played on a 7×8 reel setup, and it uses a cluster pay system to award players with prizes. It uses a gravity mechanic where winning symbols disappear to create room for new ones to fall into their space. It’s a volatile game with an average RTP of 96%. Graphics and Theme

The game is set on the surface of an unknown planet. Judging from the landscape and the surrounding planets, you can tell it’s not Earth. Three brightly coloured planets orbit the sky that’s filled with lots of stars and space dust. The reflections of the colourful planets combine to create a purple hue across the game screen. The reels are located on the plains of an open valley surrounded by huge rocky mountains, and fluorescent mushrooms scatter the floor of this space valley. The reels are encased with space rock that shines like a precious gem. The symbols inject even more colour onto the screen, including bright pink, orange and yellow colours.

The soundtrack is best described as a repetitive psychedelic rock tune that features powerful drums, mighty electric guitar slides, and impressive vocals. When you hit spin, the reels fall away to the sound of a laser gun and land back on your screen to the sound of sweets rattling in a jar. Winning combinations trigger a classic arcade winning noise and another powerful slide on the electric guitar. Each bonus symbol that lands on the reels will also trigger a popping noise to let you know something special might be around the corner.

How To Play Cluster Slide Slot

Winning clusters consist of five or more vertically or horizontally connected matching symbols. All winning combos are removed from the grid to make room for new symbols to replace them, giving you the chance to make more wins from the same spin. You will need to wager a stake between £0.20 per spin and £100 per spin to start playing. To trigger the maximum payout of 10,000x your stake, you will need to combine clusters of 15 or more red furry symbols with a multiplier. The Elk Studios X-iter feature gives you the chance to purchase additional bonus features like a super bonus that guarantees a spin with three bonus symbols or a wild bonus that guarantees a drop with three feature wilds. This is a great way to guarantee some action, but it doesn’t come cheap.

Cluster Slide Slot Features

The low paying symbols are made up of green, purple, yellow, and red gemstones. The red and yellow gemstones are the most valuable and are worth 4x your stake for clusters of 15 or more symbols. The high paying symbols are made up of four furry squares. The red furry square with a crown is the most valuable and will pay out a maximum of 500x your stake for clusters of 15 or more symbols. A wild symbol can substitute for any regular symbol to make winning combinations and a bonus symbol.

Feature wilds

There is a generator bar that is filled up when you land winning combinations. When it is full, it will award you with feature wilds. Five different feature wilds are activated when they are used in a winning combo.

Big – expands a random symbol to 2×2
Random – replaces two to four regular symbols with wilds
Multiplier – increases the multiplier by 1x, which is applied to your winnings on the next spin
Upgrading – picks a random symbol and upgrades it to a higher value symbol
Removing – wipes out all of the occurrences of a random symbol to make room for new ones to appear

Wild drops bonus game

To trigger the wild drops feature, you will need to land three or more bonus symbols simultaneously anywhere on your reels. This will award you will three free spins.

The first drop will turn all bonus symbols into 1×1 wild symbols
The second drop will place two 2×2 wild symbols on the reels
The third drop will add one 3×3 wild symbol to the grid

The wild drops bonus game can be retriggered during the round if you land three more bonus symbols.
