Cascading Wins

In Rooftop Fight, one win may well lead to another, thanks to the game's Cascading Wins mechanic. Following any win, all winning symbols are removed from the reels, and replaced by new symbols – leading to exciting chain-reaction wins. Following the initial spin, you may benefit from a maximum of nine cascades on any spin.

Character Modifier Powers

Before the game begins, you will be asked to select one of four characters, all of whom come with a special power which may be activated on any losing initial spin. The stars of this slots show and their winnings enhancing powers are:

• Disco (Wave Power) = a wave moves across the reels, adding a random number of symbols of the same colour
• Monkey (Ground Punch Power) = the Monkey punches the ground to remove a 2x2 square of symbols from the reels. These positions are then filled by four symbols of the same colour.
• Rabbit (Chaos Power) = all symbols are shuffled, potentially creating winning combinations
• Robot (Freeze Power) = freezes all symbols of the same colour (either pink or green) in-place. All other symbols are then replaced by new disks.

On top of the classic Cascading Wins mechanic, this game also offers an enticing bonus game.

Rooftop Fight Bonus

A Cascading Wins sequence may also trigger the Rooftop Bonus.

The bonus bar is located above the reels, and at the start of each spin, it is split equally into green and pink halves. However, each time a win is recorded, the bar will move to the left for a pink win, or to the right for a green win.

If you manage to move the bar all the way to either end, the bonus game will be triggered.

The game itself takes the form of a rock, paper, scissors style shootout, in which your character, and an opponent controlled by the computer, each select either a laser gun, a blaster or a bomb. Having chosen your weapons, the following rules then apply:

• The laser gun melts the bomb
• The blaster destroys the laser gun
• The bomb blows up the blaster

The winner of each round receives one point, with the first to two points winning the game. Your payout then depends upon the final score of the Bonus Game as follows:

• Lose 2-0 = 5x
• Lose 2-1 = 10x
• Win 2-1 = 30x
• Win 2-0 = 50x

Our Verdict: With Rooftop Fight being such a unique slot, it makes sense that the game's bonus round follows that same pattern. The rock, paper, scissors style mini game is fun to play with a realistic chance of success, and the fact that you get a multiplier even for losing is an added bonus.
