It would be easy for Blueprint to churn out a Spinal Tap themed slot and to allow the theme to be the main selling point, but that is not what they have done here. While the theme is certainly an attraction, the game’s biggest selling point is its great gameplay mechanics and range of bonus features.

The most notable feature in the slot is the fact that the reels of the game increase from five to seven to activate bonus rounds and reward players with extra prizes. In reference to one of the most iconic lines in the movie, there is a speaker dial that is active during play, whenever it reaches 11, the game then enters rock mode. In rock mode, two extra reels are added to the game, and the player’s chances of winning big are seriously increased.  When the reels come out, the pay lines increase as well, and there are 2,187 ways to win. Sticking with the theme, a giant vinyl then appears on the screen, and there is a spinner that will choose a special feature for players.

Four bonus rounds are available here, each of which is a slight variation on the others. These include the Heavy Duty Wilds Feature, which will turn whole reels wild with the addition of a multiplier, the Wild Sparks feature, which turns a random symbol into a wild, the Rock & Roll Spins feature, which is a streak respin feature, and finally, the bonus odyssey feature, which adds extra bonus symbols to the reels. Players can also activate rock mode at any point by paying 50x their stake.

The good times don’t stop there, though. The slot also has another bonus round that is triggered whenever players manage to land three or more of the slot’s bonus symbols. This round also has a big selection of different bonuses, with players having seven different features available. These are a mixture of standard features and include free spins, multipliers, wilds and expanding symbols.
