Wild Wake Up Feature

Beetle Bailey and his arch nemesis Sergeant Snorkel are never keen on crossing paths. However, the reels sometimes have other ideas, and may pitch the dueling duo into battle – but don’t worry, whenever this occurs, it is good news for the player.

Any time a sleeping Beetle Bailey and an Angry Sergeant Snorkel align on reels two and three, the Wild Wake Up feature will kick into gear. Bailey and Snorkel engage in a bout of fisticuffs, and when the dust settles, between three and six Wilds are added to reels two and three – greatly increasing your chances of hitting a rewarding combo.

Camp Swampy Golf Bonus

The game’s Roll and Win Bonus Round is triggered by landing a Golf Club Scatter on reels one and four.

The Bonus Game sees you rolling dice to move around a game board featuring blank squares, Golf Balls, and Grenades. General Halftrack makes an appearance at this stage - helpfully launching additional Golf Balls onto the board, and, not so helpfully, firing Grenades onto the game area with his driver.

All squares not featuring a Grenade will award a small Cash Prize when landed on.

Golf Balls are collected when landed on and will convert to large Cash Prizes if you make it all the way around the board and back to the home square.

Predictably, Grenades are to be avoided at all costs. For each Grenade that you land on, you will lose a life. Lose three lives, and your time in the Bonus Game will come to an end.

For each lap of the board you complete, the value of both the small and large cash prizes will increase. Landing on the home square will also remove between one and three Grenades from the board, increasing your chances of making it around unscathed.

Our Verdict: This was one of the most fun bonus rounds we've ever come across. Although it represents a complete departure from slot game mechanics, there's palpable tension as you wait to see what the dice rolls and whether you land on a grenade. Having three lives is a major help, and the win potential is huge!
