Graphics and Theme

Just like the first Valley of the Gods game, the graphics and theme represent ancient Egypt and the deities that they used to worship. Either side of the reels you will see tall stone pillars with decorative, colourful hieroglyphs. The foreground is a sandy desert floor, and you can just make out the outline of the pyramids in the background which lets you know you are definitely in ancient Egypt. The reels are surrounded with a golden border, and the blocked reel positions are blocked with golden stones featuring a scarab emblem.

The soundtrack is a slow, repetitive middle eastern tune that will help you achieve a trance-like focus as you hit spin. It features traditional middle eastern instruments like the Oud, Nay, Qanun, and the Riq. It will make you feel like you’ve been transported back to ancient Egypt. When you hit spin, the music intensifies, and the reels rotate with a mechanical spinning noise. When you land a winning combination, there’s a wonderful celebration noise, and you’ll hear the coins clinking against each other as your winnings are added up.

The first thing you need to do is select your betting value which can be between a minimum of £0.10 per spin and a maximum of £100 per spin. The reel structure is set up in a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 2 format with 243 ways to win in the base game. This can expand to a 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 format with 20160 ways to win when all of the blocker stones have been removed. The respin bonus features are unlocked when all blocker stones have been destroyed, which is where the real money can be made in this game. Every symbol in a winning combination will release a scarab that destroys the stone blockers and creates more ways to win. So, if you create a winning combo with five symbols, five blockers will be destroyed to create five new reel positions. Once the blockers are removed, the reels will respin. This process continues until you no longer land a winning combo. When that happens, all blockers are put back in place.
