It’s hard not to love The Goonies, and we suspect the team at Blueprint Gaming are big fans. As with the previous installments in the series, the audio and visuals will earn a thumbs up from slots fans in general and delight Goonies aficionados. Turning to the gameplay, The Goonies: Hey You Guys! isn’t quite so rich in bonus features as The Goonies or The Goonies Returns, but it’s nice to see Sloth given a little more time in the spotlight through the Cash Collect feature, which benefits from the addition of the Unlockable Symbols. Throw in the randomly activated Modifiers, and you have a base game that never becomes dull, whilst the Free Spins Bonus offers all the escalating thrills you would expect of a Bonus Trail feature. It’s a shame the RTP couldn’t have been edged up just a little higher, but other than that, this is a more than worthy addition to an excellent series.
