Manchester-based Northern Lights Gaming have been expanding quickly since their formation in 2017. A new partnership with Yggdrasil, one of the most important software providers in Europe, should continue to help their growth.

The alliance between the two companies should make for a great casino experience for punters. The images behind the slots will now be much smoother which makes it one of the key advantages to upgrading software within an online gambling site.

Northern Lights Gaming will now find it far easier to provide online games to everyone across the world. Yggdrasil are known for creating many great slot games such as All-Star Knockout, Football Glory and Vault of Fortune. The variety in these games help to ensure that there is something for every gamer to sit back and enjoy.

As well as having a base in Manchester they also have setups in Stockholm. After being founded in 2017, the company made it no secret that they were targeting gamers from the UK. However, a partnership with Yggdrasil highlights their intentions to expand as far around the world as possible.

What does this mean?

Andrew Goodale is the CEO of Northern Lights Gaming. Blessed with plenty of experience in the gaming field, he certainly knows which online games appeal to the player. He helped create Rainbow Riches – a game commonly known as one of the biggest slot games out there. He was also in charge of the Monopoly franchise, which highlights his strength in this industry.

Goodale said that the studio will have full control over the development process. This means that they can make changes and create new ideas without any consultation from Northern Lights. That is a bold move, but Yggdrasil’s reputation makes it a decision that he feels will benefit his company.

Last week Yggdrasil launched Gigablox which involves multiple symbols in one, as shown in the game Lucky Neko. A set of synced reels can be 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4. There are plenty of opportunities to win with free spins such as when five or more Lucky Cat symbols have been matched.
