Given the overall quality of their collection, we hold Pragmatic Play to a high graphical standard, and this just fell slightly short. On the plus side, the beautifully rendered dining hall of the backdrop nicely sets the tone, as something unseen – presumably a big pile of gold – glows behind the reels. The high-paying icons are also nice enough, if a little generic, but the card suits aren’t quite so polished and feel a little dated in these surroundings.

Whilst we weren’t in love with the visuals, the jaunty, caper-style soundtrack does hit the mark. Fiddles, dancing xylophones, and blundering tubas all combine nicely to set a slightly comedic tone, whilst dramatic swells accompany the arrival of the features. In contrast, the reel effects are of a classic arcade style – all thuds, clanks and electronic whirrs. Our Verdict: Coming from almost any other developer, the visuals would be commendable, but this doesn’t feel quite as polished as other recent Pragmatic Play releases. That said, the graphics aren’t poor by any means, and the soundtrack and ever-so-smug Mr and Mrs Piggy Banker just about save the day.
