Character Power Feature

In instances where a spin does not result in a win, the game may activate the Character modifier feature at random. While these powers don't assure a win, they offer unique modifications based on the character floating on the side of the game screen:

• Love: Transforms a set of visible symbols into a different type
• Blaze: Places two to four identical symbols on the grid, which are already present
• Hail: Creates a duplicate of one selected reel onto another, effectively synchronizing two reels

Love Triangle

Next to the game grid, there's a power meter that gets filled by forming winning combinations with character symbols. Specifically, three, four, or five matching symbols fill one, two, or three sections of the meter.

When the meter's three sections are full, it triggers a free spin, known as the Love Triangle. In this phase, the win multiplier resets, and each of the characters applies their special modifier to spins that don't yield wins, until all of the three modifiers are used. Additionally, clearing the entire grid on the screen during the Love Triangle rewards you with extra free spins.

Free Spins Bonus

Activated when clearing the grid during the Love Triangle or through other means, offering four extra spins with a carried-over multiplier, potentially increasing by filling the Power Meter.

Our Verdict We thoroughly enjoyed the bonus feature as it didn’t get boring. The character modifiers each offer something unique, giving the round a lot of replay value. Play'n GO could have been more generous with the number of spins, but the ability to unlock more mid-round helps soften this blow. It was pretty tough to unlock the bonuses, but fun to play once we got there.
